What does therapy look like?
Safe Space
Therapy is a safe nonjudgemental place to learn stress management strategies, explore emotions, values, and develop healthier coping skills.
Psychoeducation
Clients are provided additional resources to enhance coping abilities. Your teen will learn to regulate emotions and develop resilience to decrease potential relapse in symptoms.
Parent Involvement
Based on your teen’s needs and comfort level. We will incorporate you in treatment to help reinforce skill use. We will always update you regarding safety concerns.
Collaborative Treatment
Coordinating care with school psychologists, school counselors, primary care physicians, and/or prescribers as necessary.
